When it applies
- Buildings adjoining a basement excavation.
- Towers under construction (verticality).
- Retaining walls, embankments, fills.
- Dykes, basins and reservoirs.
The principle
Targets and benchmarks fixed on the structure are measured from points located outside the zone of influence. A first series sets the zero epoch; each campaign is compared with it and with the previous one.
Our work
- Programme. Targets, frequency and thresholds set with the design office.
- References. Stable pillars or benchmarks, checked at each campaign.
- Zero epoch. Repeated initial measurements.
- Campaigns. Total station for displacements, direct levelling for settlement.
- Sheets. Deviations per point, comparison with the thresholds, immediate alert if exceeded.
Examples of assignments
